The primary objective of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle solutions and services through a combination of inbound calls and customer prospecting in an assigned territory or vertical markets.
Be the first point of contact, as a telesales business development representative, for many potential Oracle customers during inbound telemarketing calls. Verify the eligibility of potential customers and produce quality recommendations for the Oracle sales force. Perform database and record keeping tasks.
Proven skills in time management and telesales; knowledge of Oracle products and services (training provided). Be results oriented and have superior communication skills. Ability to achieve personal goals and work in a team. Proven ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products desired. Desire to pursue a career in sales, preferably. Two years of relevant work experience preferred.
